In 2002, Alto designed and manufactured a series disabled access areas for the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. The stadium was constructed in 2002 as the new home of NFL team the New England Patriots.
The aluminium construction consists of removable deck sections to sit over the standard terracing to allow the stadium to comply with the American Disabled Association (ADA) legislation.
Because of the design of the stadium, every position was a unique size and shape. When not required the sections can be removed to allow standard terracing to be restored; thereby maximizing spectator revenue potential.
