During 1995 Alto had its towers tested to the heavy Duty (Class 3) category of the new European Standards on towers (BS1139) part 3 1994 (HD1004). It is the only company to have an aluminium tower independently certified as capable of having up to 6 platforms loaded to the steel scaffold loading criteria of 2Kn/m2
